SANCTUARY RIDGE GOLF CLUB
CLERMONT, FL
Billed as "Florida's Mountain Course," Sanctuary Ridge is located in Clermont and noted as one of Orlando's most unique courses. This thrilling Terry LaGree design is built on the state's second highest location and features dramatic elevation changes of up to 150 feet, with no parallel fairways... sometimes, it's all uphill - sometimes it's all downhill! You'll enjoy memorable, panoramic views on every hole. Featured are elevated tees, escalating fairways and large, multi-level greens. Easily accessible from all of Orlando's major network of roads, this club is a great choice from any hotel in greater Central Florida. Rated 3 1/2 stars by Golf Digest's "Best Places to Play," this track should not be missed!

Golfer Comments
04/03/2010 - Not our favorite. Too many houses on course. Posted by Vicki (Cumberland Foreside, ME)
03/29/2010 - Love this course. Fastest greens of all that we played. Posted by Jody (Columbus, OH)
03/29/2010 - Very challenging with lots of blind shots. Mountain course really describes this--lots of retention areas to lose balls; too difficult for our taste, but certainly scenic! Posted by Nancye (Wellesley, MA)
03/18/2010 - really unique course-2nd time playing it,our group really likes it- guess this would be florida's wolf creek without all the steroids Posted by John (Lafayette Hill, PA)
03/15/2010 - Definitely Florida's version of mountain golf but still a fair test. We had tee times set up and had called to confirm three days beforehand but when we arrived at the course we told out tee times were going to be delayed. We eventually teed off one hour later. Messed up our replay also. Posted by Dan (Quincy, MA)
03/12/2010 - too far away but glad we played it. Posted by Tom (Troy, IL)
03/08/2010 - we really liked the layout of this course. weathered out and only played 9 holed in cold rain Posted by Lester (North Tonawanda, NY)
03/01/2010 - This course is a hike from Orlando. The dramatic elevation changes on this course make it NO FUN to play, if you are only playing one round on it. Definitely a members course, lots of blind shots and swirling winds, greens were not consistant, sand traps were dirt traps..Our whole group disliked it so much, we didn't even stay for lunch..NO one in our group would ever return..waste of time and money Posted by Robert (Nutley, NJ)
02/28/2010 - very nice course a little up and down hiilly course but very fair Posted by Dennis (Crestwood, KY)
02/23/2010 - Played on a hillside either hitting down or up. Good course if you are into target golf. If you miss the fairway, it might mean a long climb down. Course in good condition Posted by David (New Haven, CT)
