STONEYBROOK WEST GOLF CLUB
WINTER GARDEN, FL
Some of Central Florida's finest greens can be played at Stoneybrook West; the TifEagle greens are legendary for their speed and true rolling surfaces. Designed by world-renowned architect Arthur Hills, Stoneybrook West has become one of the top public championship courses in the Orlando area. Hills did a masterful job blending the natural landscape of West Orange County; meticulous course grooming, dramatically rolling fairways framed by towering berms and water found touching 14 holes with Black Lake lurking in the background. Upon completion of your golf round, a well-equipped bar and grille compliments boastful panoramic views of the course. They didn't receive "#27 Best Golf Course in the Country" by GolfLink.com for nothing! Located just off SR545 in Winter Garden with easy access from the Florida Turnpike and the new SR429 extension. Rates include 10% discount on golf apparel and footwear

03/13/2008 - great value course Posted by George (Watervliet, NY)
03/12/2008 - Very challenging layout. Posted by Richard (Troy, NY)
03/10/2008 - Wow! What an improvement. Played there 3 years ago, and was not impressed. Now, though, we really enjoyed it. Course has shaped up. GPS is nice. Keep up the improvements. Posted by Douglas (Dublin, OH)
02/18/2008 - The course was ok! The fairways were not nearly as good as our other courses. Greens were good. Personally, I prefer the natural setting courses in nature rather than those lined with houses, but it was a nice course. We just prefer the courses with natural settings! Posted by Tim (Palm Beach Gardens, FL)
02/12/2008 - no complaints Posted by Robert (Thompsons Station, TN)
01/29/2008 - Houses border the fairways too close. Posted by Arnold (Sugar Land, TX)
01/28/2008 - All of the stoneybrook courses seem to have a premium on good greens and a good pace of play. This was the first time we played here and will put it in the rotation for the next time. Forgiving fairways with trouble around the greens. I would recommend this course to any handicap. Pick your tees and it can be as tough or easy as you want it. We played 36 and did it from 2 different sets of tees. The course changed a lot from the different tees. Posted by Kelly (New Haven, IN)
01/22/2008 - Not only did we love playing Stoneybrook West, we spent the day there. 18 holes in the morning. Lunch in the dining room. 18 holes in the afternoon and a wonderful dinner in the evening. The staff could not have been more accomodating. Posted by Sylvester (Louisville, KY)
01/22/2008 - Great course even in strong winds. Makes one plays the shots. Posted by Larry (Shelbyville, KY)
12/11/2007 - nice course but some of the fairways are really narrow and the houses surrounding very close. hit em straight or hit the house... Posted by Sven (Bellikon, )
